At Bachmair, the vacation tastes free and varied, thanks to your own kitchen in the holiday apartment, bookable catering in the 4-star superior Hotel Hohenwart 10 minutes away, and a wide selection of restaurants within walking distance. We are happy to bring bread rolls for breakfast to your apartment upon request.
The translation of "Self-Catering" from German to English remains "Self-Catering". This term is used in the tourism industry to indicate an accommodation where the guests have to make their own meals.
With the fully equipped kitchen in the apartment, you can be completely independent if you wish. We'd be happy to tell you where you can shop best. The nearest supermarket is within walking distance in the village center of Schenna.

The freedom to cook for yourself on vacation
Those who wish can prepare their favorite dishes at their own pace in the fully equipped kitchen in our apartment hotel in Italy. Fresh bread in the morning is delivered directly from the Hohenwart or from the bakery next door. And delicious Italian specialties or a fine South Tyrolean "marenda" (mid-morning meal) can also be quickly prepared, with regional ingredients from the farmers' markets in the village or from the weekly market in Merano.

No need to worry if you don't feel like cooking. Just a few minutes' walk away, we welcome you at Hotel Hohenwart to a set table! A plentiful breakfast buffet, hearty and sweet snacks, or a stylish dinner can all be flexibly added. If you wish, you can also opt for our ¾ luxury board with all three meals included.
